Surrounding yourself with others who have more experience and are better trained is important as one key factor in becoming a good business leader is to recognise both strengths and weaknesses.

Don't try to do it all yourself as you won't achieve your potential growth objectives and you will quite simply burn out, so make sure to delegate tasks and try not to take on every little job.

Make sure staff buy in to your vision

It is important for you to command respect from your workforce and your staff need to buy in to your original vision of the company together with the strategy of how to achieve that vision.

So make sure you provide the direction staff need by creating partnerships that are going to drive your business forward by being the figurehead, the spokesperson and the leader.
