Standard storage units lack the ventilation and light required for a studio. Our private workshop units are built for occupancy, making them well-suited for use as creative or trade studios.
Generally, no. Most self-storage facilities prohibit working inside the units for insurance and fire safety reasons. A dedicated lock-up workshop is specifically designed for manual work and tool use.
These units generally fall under Class E(g)(iii) for light industrial processes. For heavier work, a B2 (General Industrial) classification may apply.
