A tribute to David Guest

Joining as Property Director in 2013, David was quick to become part of the BizSpace family, bringing with him a huge amount of experience as a well-established figure in the real estate industry.  

David started his career as an office agent at Mason Owen in Liverpool before setting up and leading Bruntwood’s Liverpool office. He then went on to lead the company’s corporate strategy as a consultant, whilst having started his own business to help create and manage property plans for successful businesses.

In addition to forging a well-established reputation in the commercial property industry, David also found time to advise the Liverpool Merseyside Theatres Trust, assist the Tate Liverpool as a Development Committee member, chair the Liverpool Commercial District BID and act as a board director at Sefton Chamber of Commerce. He also spent time providing graduates and alumni of the Liverpool John Moores University business mentoring, support and office space, helping to nurture successful businesses across the North West.

David had a deep passion for the property business and its people and we will all miss him very much. His enthusiasm, commitment, generosity of spirit and humour benefited all those who knew and worked with him. David was hugely respected both by colleagues and contemporaries throughout the industry and will be remembered for his warmth and his lasting contribution to BizSpace, its culture and its people.

David was responsible for driving the company’s operational excellence, delivering the right product for new customers, and improving the environments within the business centres, industrial estates and business parks. He has left a great legacy and will be dearly missed.

For the immediate future, David’s responsibilities will be picked up by the rest of the team. It has been a tremendous privilege to have known David and to have worked with him for the last four years. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
