Business Women’s Week: Natasha Walker, taking on the challenge

We are very pleased to welcome Natasha Walker and celebrate her success at BizSpace and in her career so far.

What was your dream growing up?

I wanted to be a Chef. I absolutely love food and entertaining, so I thought being a chef would enable me to do this. I am not a Chef as I fell in love with the serviced and managed workspace industry very early on in my career. Even though I did not train as a chef, I can cook up a feast fit for a king!

Who do you look up to?

I look up to my Aunty Sheila. As a kid, I thought she was Diana Ross in secret but discovered in my teens that she was not. My aunt has done well for herself and has a very successful property management company, which she started many years ago. She is determined and a very hard worker and I have always admired her for that.

What is your superpower?

I believe I have a way with people, enabling me to work with people from all backgrounds.

What’s been the toughest challenge in your career?

My current position has thrown so many new and different challenges it has been a thought-provoking but great experience so far.

What would you say to your 16-year-old self?

You do not know as much as you think!

What advice would you give to young women today?

My advice would be the world is your oyster. That sounds cliche I know, but and there are so many opportunities available to you. Make the most of every learning opportunity and continue to learn throughout your life.

You need to work long and hard to strive your goals. Stay focused and determined as you will get there, eventually.
