Camberwell customer holds music talent showcase

A Camberwell music management company based at one of our business centres is set to host its star-studded annual showcase at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

A music management company based at one of our business centres in Camberwell is all set to host its star-studded annual showcase – complete with a special offer for Bizspace customers.

141a Management represents artists from all music genres and it has helped to develop artists including Jessie J and Ava Leigh. Its focus is on developing talent, rather than ‘manufacturing’ acts.

The company’s Playtime event, taking place at Under the Bridge, Stamford Bridge, on Tuesday 15 July 2014 will create a unique atmosphere, showcasing some unmissable pop, rock and RnB acts.

Lively line-up

Pop act CXV24 are five fiery females who bring a fresh, raw and unique sound and look to today’s music arena, combining explosive dance routines, memorable hit songs and an urban flair.

Representing rock is singer-songwriter Max Stone, a Devon-born artist whose unique vocals sound incredible with an acoustic guitar alone, and, with the addition of his band, his music has taken a whole new dimension.

RnB performer Havva is a huge hit on Youtube and other social media sites and was recently asked to sing at an event held in honour of Martin Luther King’s birthday. Havva sings on the soundtrack of the exciting urban film Brash Young Turks, which will also be previewed at the event.

Playtime will be hosted by Capital Xtra presenter KOJO, with BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Twin B. Tickets are £5 on the door, but 141a Management would like to offer free entry to all Bizspace customers. Just email your name, business and location to admin@141amanagement.co.uk to be added to the guestlist.

Bespoke business space

141a Management moved to our business centre in Camberwell, South London, four years ago and the company’s offices, rehearsal space and recording studios occupy almost all of the basement floor.

Director Lucia Hinton says of the company: “Our approach to developing singers into unique artists comes from our broad knowledge of all aspects of the entertainment industry. We have an extremely skilled and experienced management team who each can draw upon their own unique performance experience, enabling us to craft performers and artistes with artistic integrity.”

As well as studio space, Camberwell Business Centre provides a variety of business space to rent, including industrial units, workshops, offices and a mailbox service.
