The Team

We're a small but fun bunch of creative thinkers and strategists. We support the commercial growth of the business by producing creative campaigns and supporting our business centres with local differences.

 

The Role

Reporting in to the Head of Marketing, as the only designer, you will be supporting the design needs across the whole business for a strong and fun brand. You’ll be able to demonstrate a high level of creativity working across brand, digital, and print. 

You will be highly skilled in Adobe CS and you will have strong typography and layout skills. Whilst front-end digital design skills are beneficial, we want someone who can take something from creative concept through to production and deliver projects to deadline. 

You will need strong communication skills and confident in working with external creative agencies and suppliers when required. This is a part-time role based in our Head office in North London. Ideally looking for 3-4 days a week. 

 

Responsibilities


  • Working with Brand guidelines to deliver marketing collateral, digital banners, presentations, board reports and all other business requirements.
  • Working independently on ad-hoc design projects from interpreting briefs through to production
  • Ensuring all creative adheres to style / brand guidelines and articulates brand values and objectives
  • Create images and design concepts that identify a product or convey a message
  • Develop graphics for product illustrations and websites
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
  • Coordinate with creative agencies on specific projects where necessary
  • Be the brand guardian for the business ensuring constancy and adherence to the guidelines

 

 Criteria Essential Desirable
 Minimum of 4-years’ experience in a similar graphic design role x 
 Experienced in full Adobe Creative suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator x 
 Able to prioritise workload and communicate to colleagues on project status x 
 Able to prioritise workload and communicate to colleagues on project status x 
 Ability to mix creative skills with a logical approach  x
 Experience in photography and videography x 
 Strong typography and layout skills x 
 Ability to build good working relationships with internal stakeholders  x 
 Good understanding of working with brand guidelines x 
 Ability to see projects through from concepts through to production x 
 Motivation to maintain and improve design standards x 
 Outstanding communicator and creative thinker x 
 Ability to take constructive feedback and use it to improve x 
 Basic knowledge of print production   x
 Attention to detail x 
 Proof-reading & HTML skills  x
 Good time-management skills x 
 Ability to ensure all projects are executed within the time line x
