Praise for our customer service at Birkenhead

Our team at Price Street Business Centre have been praised for their customer service and support to new tenants.

The last few months have been a great success for Birkenhead Centre Manager Neil Williamson, who has welcomed both a charity and trade union as new tenants through its doors. The Wirral branch of the British Red Cross and the National Union of Teachers (NUT) have joined the variety of businesses and organisations which have already made their home at the centre, which includes a longbow retailer and an auction house.

New home for branches

Dave Hatton, Red Cross Centre Organiser, says the Wallasey and Birkenhead branches of the Red Cross had been separate, but have joined together in the new unit to form the Wirral branch.

Both branches had been left looking for a new home when they had to leave their previous premises in Victoria Street, Wallasey and Media House, Birkenhead. The main regional office of the charity had offered to find them somewhere else to go, but Dave decided to look himself and came across Price Street Business Centre.

“We were told we didn’t have to find our own place, but once I’d seen the unit at Bizspace I told our main office we had found somewhere. Everyone who has been for a course since we moved in has said it’s a brilliant place. It’s smashing,” he says.

The Red Cross uses the office space to provide life-saving first aid courses and training. Members of the public can book to take a variety of courses and a two hour session is held at the business centre every Monday night. Fosterers and carers are also given training there.

The space has a meeting area with kitchen as well as training rooms and storerooms to keep equipment.

Dave says he was impressed by the customer service and support he has received from Bizspace staff, especially Business Centre Manager Neil Williamson.

He comments: “Neil has been brilliant. He couldn’t do enough for us. I would definitely recommend Bizspace to anyone looking for a new base.”

Convenient location

Our Price Street Business Centre is in a highly convenient location near the M53 and Birkenhead Park railway station. Made up of 55 units, it includes offices, industrial units, workshops and meeting rooms.

The building has a distinctive character with a ship-style frontage and an atrium running through the centre with a glass roof, bringing in lots of natural light. The centre also has free parking and facilities including a gym, café and pool hall.
