Design Works in Felling, Gateshead is an innovative, modern business centre offering fully-managed and serviced office space & accommodation for SME and start up companies. Housing a community of over 50 businesses, we offer inclusive office rental packages for a range of business needs.

Reception Services

At Design Works we know first impressions count. Our large, inviting reception area situated in the central Design Works building is a great front of house addition to your private offices. Staffed at all times during business hours our team can greet guests, take and transfer calls, take messages and sign for deliveries.

Public Spaces

Our unique central hall, The Atrium, offers tenants a large, social space. The bright, tall room is a great informal meeting space and has also served as an exhibition space for up to 200.

The Design Works Cafe, All Day Dine, provides an informal environment away from the your office, catering for a range of needs. They also provide delivery via pre-order or phone and can provide catering when you require something for longer meetings with staff and clients.

Office Services 

On site we provide low cost office support facilities, so you take care of those basic office needs that smaller companies may not have the time or equipment for. These include typing/secretarial services,

postage services (we are a Royal Mail collection point), document binding, laminating, photocopying, fax and stationary supplies.

Conference Rooms

Design Works offers all tenants and outside organisations a range of conference and meeting rooms, available for hire daily, half-daily or by the hour. Our rooms set a professional standard for presentations, formal meetings or training sessions and are perfect for small businesses operating with Design Works.

Our boardrooms seat 20 people in a conference style or 15 around a table and come fully equipped with screen, OHP, TV, video and flip chart.

If you want to offer something extra we have your catering needs covered, whether it’s coffee, tea and biscuits or an elaborate finger buffet. Choose from over ten different menus along with additional snacks and desserts. We provide vegetarian options and cater for a range of tastes. Orders are taken ‘per head’ so you only pay for what you need.
