Morelands Trading Estate is a well-known historical landmark in Gloucester, having originally been the Old England match factory. The site has been fully restored and converted into business offices, workshops, industrial units and studios. It also offers a large meeting room for hire.
The estate contains over 70 business units. These range in size from 320 - 34,000 square feet (30 - 3,158 square metres), so we can cater for both large and small businesses.
Our simple one-page licence gives you flexibility for your business and makes signing up quick and easy. We also offer night time security patrols and monitored CCTV. There is no reception at this business centre, but we do provide a postal service.
The site is home to a community art project for disadvantaged children, which has helped the estate to become a community hub for the local area.
Close to the Gloucester Quays Outlet Centre and the Gloucester Docks, our business park benefits from an excellent public transport and road network. We have 110 free car parking spaces, available on a first come, first served basis and there is good access to all the business units for loading/unloading.
There are a number of cafés and restaurants within a two-minute walk of the trading estate.
Our Gloucester offices are rented on an unfurnished basis and range from 50 – 1,370 square feet (4.6 – 127.3 square metres). Most have windows, but we do also have some internal units.
Other residents on-site offer telecoms and IT set-up, but you are free to choose your own providers and tailor your services to your needs.
Our eight studios are based in a separate building called BizSpace House, which has its own entry system and service lift. Split over two floors, these studios range from 1,000 – 2,500 square feet (92.9 -232.3 square metres) and have high ceilings and large windows, letting in plenty of light. They are therefore ideal for photographers and artists or could be used as gyms or fitness studios.
We have a small number of industrial units, with roller shutter doors to provide easy access. One of these is a standalone 15,000 square foot (1,393 square metre) unit that can be used as a warehouse or for other light industrial purposes.
