Supporting outstanding Lancashire businesses

We are proud to be a sponsor of the Lancashire Business View Red Rose Awards for the third year running.

The annual event celebrates the cream of the county’s business community, across categories such as growth, innovation, green credentials, commitment to skills and many more.

We will be sponsoring the drinks reception at the glittering event, held at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on 13 March. More than 900 businesspeople will attend the reception, eager to find out who will be crowned as winners on the night.

Judging duties

Our sales and marketing director, Emma Long, will be heading to Preston next week to judge the finalists as they give presentations outlining why they should win their respective categories.

“I am really looking forward to hearing a wide range of success stories from Lancashire’s business community, but I’m sure it will be really difficult to choose between the finalists as the standard of the written entries was so high,” Emma commented.

Perks for county businesses

We are currently trialling a special service for businesses in the Lancashire area which are looking to grow during 2014. Teaming up with our long-standing customer NXO, which has been based at our Preston Technology Centre for 18 years, we are offering new customers moving into the centre preferential rent as well as 12 months of mentoring and guidance. Marketing specialist NXO will deliver one-to-one seminars and group workshops helping businesses to set goals for growth and work towards achieving them.
