BizSpace appoints Nick Smith as Development Director

We’re delighted to welcome Nick Smith to the BizSpace team, as our new Development Director.

Nick’s role involves identifying sites for new-build opportunities and leading the development of those spaces to create purpose built BizSpace business centres.

We have a strong focus on growth and expansion, leading to the creation of the development director role.

Nick already has four development projects underway.

“I’ve worked with the BizSpace team previously, since I set up Pure Offices with Highcross in 2008, who also owned BizSpace at the time.  It’s great to be on board with them at such a crucial time of growth, and to be bringing new skills and experience to the company,” he says.

“We already have projects well progressed and soon to be contracted, so it is a really exciting phase for BizSpace.  Watch this space for news of new developments over the coming 12 months.”

Nick is a Fellow of the RICS and was also managing director and operations director at Basepoint, over five years.

Our commercial director, Emma Long, says: “Previously we have grown via purchase of existing properties, so this is a major step in the development of the BizSpace brand throughout the UK.

“By planning and developing new business centres from scratch we will be able to offer our customers the full BizSpace experience right from day one, as every element of the centres will be tailored to our customers’ needs.”
