Celebrating business talent with the Red Rose Awards

We're pleased to announce that we are a sponsor for the Red Rose Awards for the fourth year running and encourage our customers to enter.

At Bizspace we love nothing more than celebrating fantastic business talent, which is why we’ve once again teamed up with Lancashire Business View magazine to be a sponsor of the Red Rose Awards 2016

This will be the fourth year running that we have sponsored the event’s drinks reception, held in the beautiful Winter Gardens in Blackpool.

The event rewards the cream of Lancashire’s business community, delivering awards in 26 categories, and entries are now open. Once again our Sales and Marketing Director, Emma Long, will be a member of the judging panel, with the tough job of helping to whittle down the hundreds of entries to select the cream of the crop.

Earning recognition

After an initial written application, entrants must present to a judging panel, explaining why they should win the award and answering any questions the judges may have.

Emma says: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Red Rose Awards drinks reception for the fourth year running. It’s great for us to meet and celebrate with the successful businesses that are driving the Lancashire economy forward.

“Bizspace is all about helping and encouraging businesses to succeed, so the event is a perfect fit for us. Our company values are fun, teamwork, professionalism, passion and honesty and we feel these are all reflected in the Red Rose Awards too, both in the event itself and the fantastic businesses who enter. We’re looking forward to taking part in the judging and seeing everyone in March!”

To enter, businesses must be based in the Lancashire area.  We’d like to encourage all of our customers in the county to get their entries in and be in with a chance of taking home a trophy. The closing date for entries is 15th January 2016 and the awards night takes place on 10th March.  Previous winners include business relocation company Andrew Porter Limited.

Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View, says: “This event celebrates Lancashire business, provides the best possible platforms to promote success, and encourages trade in the county.

“We are giving businesses the opportunity to shout about the great things they do and achieve and we hope they’ll grasp that opportunity with both hands by entering. There is at least one category applicable to every business in the county.

“We know the business community love participating in the awards – if you’ve experienced the Red Rose Awards either by entering, judging, sponsoring or attending on the night, we ask that you encourage your clients, suppliers and associates to enter now!”

The Red Rose Awards is the current holder of the PPA Connect Best UK Business Awards Event title.
