First co-working space to launch in Letchworth

Pixmore Business Centre, in Letchworth, will be the first location to launch Bizspace’s new co-working initiative The Work Lounge.

Co-working offers freelancers, homeworkers, mobile workers and those running their own business the chance to come together and share the benefits of working alongside each other.

The Work Lounge offers a professional business environment for those who don’t need their own office space on a full-time basis.

Our new co-working space at Letchworth, in Hertfordshire, will have capacity for 50 workers and will include high-speed wifi. The workspace will be ideal for people living in the rural area, who might otherwise face a long commute into London, as well as homeworkers who thrive on being around other people.

The Work Lounge will include a mixture of comfortable lounge space with tub chairs and low tables, formal work desks and quiet areas. It will be the first co-working space in the Letchworth area.

The Letchworth Work Lounge will be launched with an open day from midday until 6pm on Tuesday, September 3. Everyone who attends on the day will be given free NearDesk access cards, worth £24, which you can use to access The Work Lounge at Letchworth – as well as any other co-working spaces in NearDesk’s network.

There will be special offers for the first customers who sign up to use The Work Lounge as well as a competition giving those at the open day the chance to win a month’s free membership.

 Flexible service

There are no monthly fees or start-up costs for The Work Lounge, so the service is completely flexible – you can use it as much or as little as you want.

Those using the co-working space will be able to benefit from free drinks and kitchen facilities as well as free parking, along with the networking and collaboration opportunities offered by working alongside other people.

We will also be rolling out The Work Lounge to other Bizspace locations soon, with co-working spaces already being planned for Brixton and Manchester.

To use the workspace at Pixmore Business Centre, Letchworth, it will cost £5 an hour or £40 for a whole day. There is also the option of paying £100 each month to use The Work Lounge and this deal also includes a free mailbox for your business.
