Huddersfield electrical firm will pass on industry wisdom

A customer at our Marsh Mills business centre in Huddersfield will be passing on their pearls of wisdom to other electricians.

Ti Installations has been invited to author a monthly blog for Electrical Times, an industry website and magazine aimed at the UK electrical contracting sector.The team at Ti Installations will write posts sharing their experiences and giving advice and guidance in the hope the blog will help raise standards throughout the profession.

The invitation came after the firm was named the Eaton Smith Business of the Month – an award given to successful businesses in the mid-Yorkshire area.

Electricians Kris Johnson and Mark Copley founded Ti Installations back in January 2014. The pair created the business to fill a gap in the market by installing high quality turnkey security, audio and electrical systems at affordable prices.

Successful approach

So far, the company’s business model has proved highly successful and the team exceeded their predicted first year end turnover figures by 91%. As well as working in the Yorkshire area, Ti Installations has experienced business growth throughout the UK, working on projects further afield in a variety of locations including Wokingham and St Helens.

Mark says they chose the location of Marsh Mills because it offers the “perfect blend” of commercial property and industrial space, which suits the nature of their business.

Mark explains: “We have a comprehensive office here which we have kitted out with a variety of the technologies we install for clients on a daily basis, and also have our own small workshop for equipment testing and repairs.

“In the heart of Huddersfield, we are ideally located for us to visit clients throughout West Yorkshire, and we are close to the main motorway networks which proves crucial as we are increasingly doing more work the length and breadth of the UK.

Marsh Mills is a business centre in a converted wool mill, which offers a range of offices, workshops, industrial units and storage facilities.

The centre has industrial units on the ground floor which offer easy access for vehicles for loading and unloading and there is plenty of parking for all customers and their visitors.
