Job Scope

• Responsible for the upkeep of a number of sites throughout the North West Region, including carrying  out compliance tasks and  general maintenance duties
• Reports to the Regional Operations Manager
• Day-to-day reporting to the Centre Managers, liaison with the Regional Management, administration teams, site customers and visitors 
• Assists the Centre Managers in the day-to-day operation of the sites and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of other staff, customers, contractors and visitors to site
• Engaging and leading on projects across various sites employing plumbing, joinery and decoration skills whilst ensuring work is carried out safely
• Testing and monitoring of the site fire alarm, emergency lighting and hot & cold-water systems alongside any other related tasks and the recording and reporting of the results to assist the company in meeting its statutory duties
• As necessary assist the Centre Managers with site visitors and escorting contractors 
• Any other tasks as reasonably required from time to time
• Project work such preparing space for sale, joinery, decorating, carpeting, plumbing.
• Securing units at the request of the regional credit controller
• Normal working patterns are Monday to Friday but there may be occasional out-of-hours or weekend working and site emergencies to attend to as is the flexible nature of our business and centers

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, passionate and flexible team player to join our mobile maintenance team, based from one of our North West sites, working across the region. This is a very varied role requiring someone capable of carry out general maintenance tasks, repairs, plumbing, joinery and just about everything else on site to keep things looking good and safe for our customers. Projects are a key aspect of the role ranging from refitting bathrooms and kitchens through to upgrading office space and landscaping areas. 

Our North West portfolio is diverse and at times demanding to look after with a high level of customer interaction so good customer service skills are a must. The role is mobile covering a number of sites, so a full, clean driving licence is a necessity.
