New Face at BizSpace | Notts LGBT+ Network
We’ve got a New Face at BizSpace!
Last month we welcomed Notts LGBT+ Network as our first customer at our brand new Nottingham Park Row centre.
The registered charity has been providing support for the LGBT+ people of Nottinghamshire for the past 45 years. They began in the 1970s when information and assistance for LGBT+ people was scarce.

Fast forward to the 21st century, charity volunteers continue to provide a reliable and trustworthy service, offering their support over phone, text, email, letter and instant messaging. They also produce QB, a free bi-monthly newsletter (available for download from their website or via email subscription), and have a strong presence at Nottinghamshire Pride Festival and other local events.
Over the past few months, the charity has been able to provide a limited service virtually, though they do feel that a physical workspace is still vitally important. Richard Almond, Trustee at Notts LGBT+ Network, said: “We need to keep the community spirit alive and get together to support each other as volunteers, as well as our service users.”
Notts LGBT+ Network joined BizSpace after the office they had occupied for the last 21 years was sold. In their own words, they were “ready to move to a modern, vibrant and central location at the heart of the city” – somewhere convenient for their volunteers and a hub to network with other organisations.
Welcome to BizSpace, Notts LGBT+ Network!
