Revamped meeting room attracts customers
Need a meeting room in Birmingham? A refurb of our meeting room and offices in Tyseley Business Centre is encouraging businesses to move in.
The major refurb of a meeting room has helped attract new customers to our Tyseley Business Centre in Birmingham.
The business centre used to have two small meeting rooms, but they have now been turned into one larger space.
Business Centre Manager Kevin McNamara says the new space, which includes a whiteboard, flipchart and free drinks, is already encouraging businesses to move in. The revamped meeting room is in Tyseley’s C Block, which is currently being improved.

Kevin says: “There were only a small number of occupiers in there before, but now it is 50% occupied and we’ve had interest on some of the remaining units. People have really liked the new meeting room.”
Larger space is more flexible
Before the work was carried out, the two small meeting rooms were only large enough for six people. But the new room has a capacity of up to 14 people, making it a much more versatile space. We can also provide catering for meetings on request and users can hire a projector.
The whole of C Block at Tyseley is being given a new lease of life at the moment with new carpets and a re-paint to smarten the facility up. The toilets are also being refurbished.
The business centre provides offices, spread across blocks A, B and C, plus workshops and industiral units.
Secure self storage
The centre also includes a fully-alarmed self storage facility with CCTV and security lighting. Run in partnership with Henfield Self Storage, there are a range of different units. The smallest are 25 square feet – big enough for 50 medium size boxes – and the largest are 400 square feet, which is enough room for the entire contents of a large six bedroom house.
