Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will report directly to the Marketing Director, leading the digital marketing strategy for the business with a focus on lead generation and sales through all digital channels

Job Scope:

Reports to the Marketing Director, is based at Head Office, but expected to travel to sites nationally as required within the UK. Line management responsibility for Social Media Executive.

Responsibilities: 

• Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the BizSpace website.
• Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
• Detailed analysis and data insight to drive targeted and effective messaging and digital marketing campaigns.
• Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns.
• Improving the user experience on the company’s website (Includes design, content and usability).
• Present digital updates to senior stakeholders; driving decision making and stakeholder alignment.  
• Collecting and evaluating customer feedback data.
• Evaluating competitor’s Digital Marketing strategies and creating plans to overtake them.
• Own all requests from other areas of the business requiring digital marketing support. 
• SEO
o Manage SEO agency through clear KPI’s and performance management.
o Research, analyse and implement SEO strategy and plan.
o Create effective material for driving SEO.
o Update, amend and develop website to maximise SEO.
o Create appropriate messages to capture target audiences.
o PPC strategy, campaign implementation and analytics review. Driving increase in Google and Facebook targeted marketing campaigns. 
• Plan and design new features, functionality, initiatives and concepts with website agency both on a deep technical, user journey and setting clear KPI’s and service level performance management. 
• Create ideas for effective web-based marketing campaigns.
• Create compelling and creative text for all aspects of the website. 
• Deliver the overall customer facing digital strategy roadmap.
• Articulate technical specifications and work with IT stakeholders to ensure digital output. meets requirements and expectations of marketing function.
• Hold responsibility for the UI/UX across the full digital estate, through websites, digital products and other digital touchpoints across the customer journey.
• Manage AlldayPA relationship and process.
• Project manage key digital projects.
• Championing new technologies, testing and applying new concepts to the site.
• Leading Salesforce marketing management and development.
• Manage and develop the digital CRM strategy via emails and ecommerce using salesforce pardot.
• Developing a BizSpace data analytics strategy and plan.
• Developing and launching a new website, mobile app and community portal both from a technical and UX perspective.
• Manage one direct report (Social Media Executive) including workflow, personal progression and professional development.

• Proven track record in creating and delivering successful and cost-effective marketing campaigns (most immediately but not limited to digital marketing channels, e.g. SEM, social media and email), that lead to successful product/service launches and notable increases in inbound traffic and unique users.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Brand building and good communication skills.
• Competitive analysis, digital media planning & coverage.
• Maintain brand positioning when creating advertising copies.
• Negotiation, creative problem solving and analytical thinking.
• A digital leader who maintains knowledge of evolutionary practices.
• Rich and deep experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
• Experience in new technology marketing stacks assessment and implementation.
• Experience in Salesforce and Salesforce Pardot (email automation).
• Experience in App launch, development and analytics.
• Self-starter.
• Strategic as well as operational digital marketing experience.

 

Desirable:

• Developing creative strategy, creative writing and online market research.
• Knowledge of social media strategies and activity.
• Ability to set and manage budgets.
• Experience in data analytics and using Power BI platform.
• Communication campaigns launch of ATL & BTL activities, brand planning & strategy.
• Line management experience.
