New design and branding launched at Empress Business Centre
We had a fantastic reaction from customers, staff, local business associates and visitors at the launch of the newly refurbished and redesigned Empress Business Centre in Old Trafford Manchester.
We had a fantastic reaction to our newly relaunched Empress Business Centre at our launch day event last week.

Customers, staff, local businesspeople and visitors came along to be among the first to view our rejuvenated corporate branding and new look interior scheme for the large business centre in Old Trafford, Manchester.
The site will act as a ‘pilot’ for our branding which will be rolled out nationwide by November, and our interior redevelopment programme, which will see our centres given a fresh new look and feel, inspired by their history and surroundings.
Tasteful transformation
Visitors to Empress enjoyed guided tours of the attractive new reception area, complete with a brainstorming pod featuring whiteboard walls; meeting room with 100mbps high speed broadband; freshly decorated co-working space; show offices with large feature windows and views of the city; communal spaces with injections of colour and bold, inspirational quotes; and updated kitchen and toilet facilities, worthy of an upmarket city centre hotel.
Wall art throughout all levels of the centre features the Manchester skyline as well as artistic prints of nearby landmarks and tributes to legendary local bands, such as the Stone Roses and Oasis.
Guests were also treated to Champagne, canapes, doughnuts, desserts and a pick & mix stand, as well as goodie bags.
Business Centre Manager, Simon Fennell, says the open event was a fantastic success.
“We had so many fabulous comments about the centre’s new look,” he says.
“Our existing customers love the modern look and feel, and appreciate the high quality of the new fittings in the kitchens and bathrooms. Our visitors had plenty of great feedback too, saying the centre felt welcoming with a positive atmosphere, while keeping a cool and trendy edge.”
Months of planning
The interior scheme has been created by Territory Interior Design, one of Bizspace’s customers at Atlantic Business Centre in Altrincham, and our Sales and Marketing Director, Emma Long, with a view to appealing directly to our key target markets of start-ups, microbusinesses and small companies, as well as giving such businesses the ideal workspace in which to flourish.
And our new branding has been developed in line with our company values of Fun, Passion, Professionalism, Teamwork and Honesty. After being previewed at Empress and gaining feedback from customers, it will be launched nationwide to all of our 97 sites between now and November.
Emma comments: “It’s amazing to see all our hard work and planning come together to result in such a fantastic finished product. Everyone who has been involved in the process had helped create a vision that truly represents all that Bizspace stands for.”
Some of our next centres to undergo refurbishment over the next 12 months are Roden House in Nottingham, Pixmore Centre in Letchworth, Lombard Business Park in Wimbledon, Hollinwood Business Centre in Oldham, Lomeshaye Business Village in Nelson, Atlantic Business Centre in Altrincham, Wilsons Park Business Centre in Newton Heath and North Sands Business Centre in Sunderland. The scheme for each site will be bespoke, giving a nod to its surroundings and history.
