We’re delighted to announce the opening of our latest Work Lounge, a collaborative shared office space, in Glenfield Park Business Centre, Blackburn.
We’re delighted to announce the launch of our latest Work Lounge at our Glenfield Park Business Centre in Blackburn.
The bright and modern work environment will allow local homeworkers, freelancers and entrepreneurs the opportunity to network and share ideas with one another.
Our new Work Lounge offers six desks in a shared office space that can each be hired on an hourly, daily or monthly basis. Prices start at just £3 per hour and include the use of free on-site car parking facilities, exclusive meeting rooms and tea and coffee making facilities.
Boosting opportunities
Business Centre Manager at Glenfield Park, Julie McNulty, says The Work Lounge will bring new opportunities for young businesses in the area.
“Blackburn is a hub for business talent and the new Work Lounge will allow people who’d normally work in isolation to network, share ideas and thrive in a creative environment,” she says.
“Just recently a report showed that Lancashire was the U K’s second-biggest hotspot for small online retailers, many of which are run by ‘homepreneurs’.
“We understand that the costs for a professional workspace can be a barrier to young businesses, but at the same time, it is important to be taken seriously and to avoid the disadvantages of working alone. The Work Lounge is designed to be a first step on the ladder and an exciting and inspiring place to work.”
Drop in for tour
You’re invited to drop in on Monday 15 June 2015 between 10 am and 4 pm to have a tour of the premises and find out more.
Our Sales and Marketing Director, Emma Long, adds: “Collaborative working has been shown to help overcome some of the problems which can be suffered by home workers, such as reduced social contact, loneliness, lack of self-esteem and lack of motivation. Not only can people benefit from meeting potentially valuable new business contacts, but being around others can help get those creative juices flowing. We hope the opening of our new Work Lounge will help Blackburn’s start-up business community thrive.”
Our Blackburn Work Lounge is the latest addition to our network of coworking spaces across our sites, which is proving popular with a wide range of businesses.
