Third co-working space set to launch in Manchester
Our new Manchester coworking space is holding an open day on 30th January. Come try out our shared office and take up our offer of one month free.
Our third Work Lounge is set to open at the Empress Business Centre, Old Trafford, Manchester next week.
We are holding an open day on Thursday 30 January, from midday to 6pm. This will allow anyone interested to drop in and find out more about our coworking space, as well as take advantage of exclusive opening offer of one month’s free membership.

Fantastic feedback
Manchester’s branch of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) was one of the first groups to test out the coworking space and members were impressed by the facilities. Simon Edmondson, the branch’s Recruitment Advisor, said:
The Work Lounge is bright and spacious, offering businesses owners the opportunity to not only work independently, but also the ability to communicate with people from other local companies.
“This is a huge benefit, especially for people who normally work alone. Our members really liked the concept and all feedback was positive.”
Network as you work
Manager of the Empress Business Centre, Ian Walker, hopes our new shared workspace will become a ‘go-to’ facility for a range of local businesspeople. He said,
“The UK is becoming renowned for its numbers of entrepreneurs and start-up businesses and we wanted to provide a coworking space to help small and fledgling companies grow and thrive”
“The Work Lounge combines all the benefits of a professional work environment with the chance to network with other local businesses, as well as giving users ultimate flexibility over costs. At the Work Lounge you can choose to pay by the hour or pay a fixed monthly fee, and facilities such as high speed WiFi and tea and coffee are all included in the price.
We have carried out customer research and we have given a great deal of thought to what our customers may need and how best to provide it for them.
The Work Lounge is ideal for homeworkers, freelancers, mobile workers and owners of start-up businesses, who are not ready to commit to a full-time business unit. It also makes a great base in Manchester for mobile workers or travelling salespeople.
Based in the converted Victorian Empress Brewery, The Work Lounge is a bright, modern space which will be open from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Car parking is available at the site, on a first come first served basis.
If you’re interested in finding out more about our Manchester coworking space, come to the open day, email Ian Walker or call 0161 8775579.
We also have Work Lounges at our business centres in Letchworth and Brixton.
