Coppull Enterprise Centre in Chorley offers a mixture of offices, meeting and training rooms, studio space, light industrial units, workshops and storage space.
The business centre was originally a cotton spinning mill and has been converted into modern commercial units while retaining many of its original features. The individual units range in size from 100 - 4,000 square feet (9 - 371 square metres).
It is set in a peaceful location and the grounds contain a large lake, which is the perfect place for a relaxing lunch when the weather allows. We also have our very own pub on-site, The Red Herring, which was originally built for mill workers in the early 20th Century.
The centre benefits from a community atmosphere and is home to a variety of businesses - from a publishing and insurance firm to a boxing academy. It is also known as the location of the popular children’s play centre, Playmates.
We're located on Mill Lane, just north of the village of Chorley, offering beautiful scenic views over the Lancashire countryside.
We are within easy access of the motorway network, being about 2 miles from the M6 and M61 motorways, making locations like Preston, Wigan, West Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside a short journey away.
If you're travelling by public transport, Chorley Rail Station is 10 minutes away, while local bus services operate from Chorley to Coppull, Charnock Richard and other local towns.
Most of our offices are suitable for 1 - 10 people, although we have three large, open plan offices on the second floor that are suitable for 25 - 30 staff.
We have a range of commercial units that can be tailored to your needs and either used as light industrial, workshop, storage or studio space. Many of these units are self-contained, with their own toilet and kitchen facilities and in some cases, their own integrated office units. Our internal units also have roller shutter doors for ease of access.
We offer additional support services from our Chorley site, providing mailboxes and a virtual office service. Mailboxes are ideal for people who work from home and need a dedicated business address, while virtual offices suit businesses who need telephone answering as well. This is a very economical service, starting from £30 (+VAT) per month.
